ETHAN'S SURGERY ...
Kayli and I are headed out in just a bit for Louisiana. Our grandson, Ethan, has been battling repeated strep infections so the drs decided to go ahead and do a tonsilectomy, NOW! So....we are regrouping, rescheduling and headed that way.
Please pray for his safety through surgery, his quick recovery and for traveling safety for Kayli and I. Also, think often about Jared and Brandi who will be 'baching' it while we are gone. Be back on Sunday.
Have a great week!

I love you.
I had it 4 years ago, its bad but its worth it. Throat only goes red couple times in a year, but no big troubles. Well- something I find out after that: since theres nothing to get swollow in case of cold, he might feel something in the there - reason->just so called throat "crater" goes up for a while. No reason to panic, it goes away by week of half.
So here it looked like:
1. week means only liquid food and its swollen a lot(neck is almost double), hard to swallow but pain is normal. Speaking is hard or just dont dear to speak.
2.week can start trying to swallow something soft and drinkable meaning something else than jogurt etc but pain returns since the swolloness goes away its like the strongest sore throat.
3. week pain is better but it tickling a lot
Maybe that helps:)
Tonsilectomy? Wow. Hope the little guy goes through the process well. Have a good week!
